Side Tables for Local Auction

I made two side tables in tiger maple, each with a drawer and shelf, as a donation for a live auction and fundraiser. Proceeds from the event went to a  food co-op underway in my town. Fondly known as MoCo (Morrisville Food Co-op), we learned at the auction that store front construction will start this May. There was an exciting bidding war for these tables — gratifying for me to witness! The table drawers are classically made using hand-cut joinery and have a brass knob pull.

Vermont Farm Table

I recently created this Vermont Farm Table as a donation to a future food co-op here in Morrisville, Vermont. The table top is made in cherry with bread board ends, and has a distressed base. It was auctioned at their annual spring fundraiser, and went to a young couple for their newly purchased home. I look forward to the Morrisville Food Co-op (fondly known as MoCo) becoming a reality!

Corner Desk

This corner desk was designed to fit to the corner of my customer’s room, with one side facing a wall and the other a floor-length window. Six drawers were created, with two being file drawers. Hard maple wood was used for the case, and birds eye maple for the top and drawer fronts. The customer was delighted with the look and sturdy construction.

Night Tables

The customer of these night tables wanted some bedside storage to tuck away clutter. The 2 drawers and single shelf of these tables fit this request as well as their available bedside space. The custom stain color was mixed to match the finish of their bed. Result: a very happy customer!

Traditional Bed with Pickled Wood Finish

A smaller bed (full size) was needed to fit the guest room of this client, so that there would be room to move around the bed and room. Bob and his client decided to create 2 shorter bed posts (at the end of the bed) to limit run-ins with the frame and create more of a feeling of space in the room.

Below are some details of how Bob constructs bed corner posts (using bolts) and the wooden slat support structure across the frame for the box spring and mattress.

Cherry Wood Bed with Arched Headboard

I’ve created a custom, queen-sized, cherry wood bed frame with an arched headboard for a good client of mine. (There are also two bedside tables that I made that you can partially see.) Unfortunately they have had to move several times in the last 5 years, but fortunately the design of this bed (and matching tables) has worked well in all their bedrooms!
