I made two side tables in tiger maple, each with a drawer and shelf, as a donation for a live auction and fundraiser. Proceeds from the event went to a food co-op underway in my town. Fondly known as MoCo (Morrisville Food Co-op), we learned at the auction that store front construction will start this May. There was an exciting bidding war for these tables — gratifying for me to witness! The table drawers are classically made using hand-cut joinery and have a brass knob pull.
This corner desk was designed to fit to the corner of my customer’s room, with one side facing a wall and the other a floor-length window. Six drawers were created, with two being file drawers. Hard maple wood was used for the case, and birds eye maple for the top and drawer fronts. The customer was delighted with the look and sturdy construction.
I’ve created a custom, queen-sized, cherry wood bed frame with an arched headboard for a good client of mine. (There are also two bedside tables that I made that you can partially see.) Unfortunately they have had to move several times in the last 5 years, but fortunately the design of this bed (and matching tables) has worked well in all their bedrooms!
